Oxymorphone (brand name Opana) is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic indicated for the management of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain in opioid-tolerant patients requiring around-the-clock opioid therapy for an extended period of time. The G74 imprint identifies a 40mg oxymorphone hydrochloride extended-release tablet manufactured by Endo Pharmaceuticals. Oxymorphone is approximately 3-5 times more potent than morphine and 2-3 times more potent than oxycodone.
